Network Marketing Pty Ltd commenced operations in 1971 in Melbourne. Since then Network Marketing has become a well-respected and reliable supplier to the Packaging, Printing and Plastics Industries throughout Australia.
During the 1970’s and early 1980’s Network concentrated on establishing itself as a major supplier to plastic fabricators and thermoforming companies by importing, warehousing and distributing flexible and rigid PVC sheeting and Duflex Open Cell PVC foam.
In response to the industry struggling to obtain good quality product at economical prices our directors travelled regularly overseas mainly in Asia developing first rate trading partnerships with manufacturers who could produce good quality product at reasonable prices.
Network Marketing was able to establish itself in the marketplace by developing strong and longstanding relationships with customers by always adopting the policy of keeping stock in the warehouse.
In the late 1980’s Network Marketing expanded by opening an office and warehouse in Sydney.
Network Marketing’s product range for the plastic fabricating industry expanded rapidly after securing the Australian agencies for Smurfit Kappa Graphic Board, World Wide Stationery Ring Mechanisms, KWH PVC and Polypropylene Sheeting and Carolex Polypropylene Extruded Sheet
During the last 5 years they have also introduced to the market Plasnet a low cost plastic synthetic paper that is capable of not only being screen-printed but also offset printed on standard presses.
In 1999 Network Marketing commenced importing Shrink Label Films. More recently Network Marketing was also appointed the Australian distributor of Valéron and V-Max by Valéron Strength Films of the USA. These products have allowed Network Marketing to extensively expand their range of products offered to the Graphic Arts industry especially label and tag manufacturers.
Recognizing that the Thermoforming industry is developing new products with better environmental performance, Network Marketing is now also importing APET and Barrier sheeting into Australia.
In 2005 Network Marketing relocated its Melbourne warehouse to a "state of the art" facility in the eastern Melbourne suburb of Blackburn North whilst in early 2008 a new purpose built warehouse was constructed in Sydney. Both the Melbourne and Sydney offices and warehouses are very close to major road freeways that facilitate very efficient deliveries not only to our local customers but to all other major industrial centres in Australia. |
